Gaggle Vol. 14
Featuring picks from gold⭐️goose Mustard!
If you have a few dollars please, please share with my friend Wael Tamraz. He’s 20 years old and has taken on fundraising for the survival of his family of 12 in Gaza. Wael is extremely stressed trying to support his family, he was just injured by flying shrapnel, and his father is sick which is incredibly daunting considering they barely have the funds for food and medication. If you can, please send them a few dollars here. Thank you ❤️🩹🇵🇸
Very excited to share this month’s edition of the Gaggle featuring picks from Substack sweetie and gold⭐️goose JustSomeMustard! Mustard is a beloved condiment who dabbles in poetry and pixel art, amongst other fun creations, at Mustard’s Diner and Mustard’s Museum of Pixel Art. I highly recommend you subscribe to both pages, as Mustard is a lovely condiment who will help you see the beauty of stairs, or pigeons, or even a lineup of jurors. I’m so very honored Mustard took some time out of their busy schedule to clue us in on what they’ve been into lately.
I’m also very excited to announce that the Gaggle will now be a bimonthly newsletter! That’s right: two times the picks, two times the gold⭐️geese, and two times the silly sentiments! That being said, I won’t be including my personal picks in every newsletter. I’m trying to figure out if/when those will fit in, and for now I am happy to feature just the picks of my awesome gold⭐️geese. Join the Gaggle now, you won’t regret it ⭐️🪿
Mustard is currently reading the Dungeon Crawler Carl series! They are currently on book two and absolutely loving it. This series has helped get them out of their recent reading slump. The world and characters within this series are so vivid and over-the-top in the best way possible. Besides that they try their best to read as much as they can on Substack.
Mustard and Honey Mustard recently celebrated two big anniversaries early! To celebrate we went to Walt Disney World and Universal. Universal happened spur of the moment but Mustard is so thankful we decided to do it with their best friend. We have had an itch to go back since celebrating. This is unrelated but Walt Disney World needs more Muppets and Phineas and Ferb attractions/merchandise.
Mustard recently got diagnosed with Raynaud’s Disease. It is an auto-immune disease they have had their whole life but was unaware of until recently. With their disease cold weather/air conditioning can potentially trigger them. Because of this they would like to recommend you sweat more. Mustard does not like sweat (or the feeling of it) but since being diagnosed they have become more appreciative of it. It is a sign their bottle is warm and they are healthy.
Mustard is a big fan of British television programming. Whether it is Doctor Who or Peep Show they find themselves gravitating towards British shows. They are currently watching spy drama “Slow Horses” on Apple TV and cannot recommend it enough. Mustard is also trying their best to keep up with Taskmaster which can be viewed for free on YouTube!
At any point at any time in any moment they most likely are listening to Carly Rae Jepsen. Outside of Carly Rae Jepsen they enjoy listening to BAD OPERATION, Devon Kay & The Solutions, Laufey, Aesop Rock, JID, and many more. Just yesterday they were listening to the king of Mexican Ranchera music Vicente Ferenadez. Mustard tries their best to listen to a little bit of everything.
